BUSINESS MEETING TO FOLLOW

Please bring a covered dish to share and your own tableware. For our fundraiser, please donate a craft, baked goods, or white elephant for the auction. (Limit of 5 items per family.)
We also pass the hat for donations. There is also a cake guess.
Swimming is available at a $1.00 discount .
Come enjoy fun and fellowship.


Successful 88th Reunion - Minutes

President Eleanor Kinnan and her brother Gerald Robert Hott. This would be Eleanor's last year as president of the Barefoot Reunion.

Presiding at the 2005 meeting of the Barefoot Reunion Association was President Eleanor Kinnan. The officers for 2005 were as follows:
Eleanor Kinnan – President
Mike Barefoot – Vice President
Sylvia Sonneborn – Treasurer/Editor
Bobbie Woodley – Recording Secretary
Jack Sonneborn – Corresponding Secretary

Business Meeting:

The meeting opened at 2:00 with the Pledge of Allegiance, conducted by Tim Barefoot.
“The Star Spangled Banner” was sung by Aubrey Erdley.
We held a moment of silent meditation after the reading of deceased members by Betsy Hawthorne.

Betsy Hawthorne reads the list of deceased members while the late President Eleanor Kinnan and Treasurer Sylvia Sonneborn sit at officers’ table.

Next was the reading of 2004 minutes by Bobbie Woodley, secretary.
Motion to accept minutes made by Betsy Hawthorne, seconded by Jane Cauffiel
Thomson.
Reading of Treasurer’s Report by Sylvia Sonneborn. Received since June 2005 $315.00 in donations. Motion made to accept treasurer’s report.






Business Meeting con’t.:
Motion to give $50.00 donation to band (HTAF/Dave Burns) made by Dorothy Barefoot, seconded by Mike Barefoot

Request for a $100.00 donation to Cemetery Association @ Pleasantville Cemetery/Bob Felton, caretaker.
Motion to donate made by Betsy Hawthorne, seconded by Carol Saylor Scott

Motion to make an amendment to the above, made by Jim Strange, seconded by Mike Barefoot. Motion passed.
Eleanor Kinnan, our president, has decided to step down for health reasons.
Mike Barefoot agreed to take over as president.

Betsy Hawthorne will reserve Sequoia @ Windber Park for 2006.
The president expressed appreciation for Dorothy Barefoot and daughter Penny Espenshade, who organized the food brought for lunch.
Mark Hott will provide information about his grandmother Elizabeth Mae Krise Hott at the next reunion.
Dave Burns and band HTAF will perform again.
Ashley Hott will be in charge of prizes.
Bobbie Woodley will be in charge of the auction.

Motion to adjourn meeting was made by Gail Prave, seconded by Sylvia Sonneborn.
